I had posted a short story earlier that I had written a couple of months ago called 'The Continental'. I never re-drafted it. I knew it was badly in need of editing but I was too lazy to go back and actually fix it up.
I wrote it in a couple of hours, and I should've known better.
Re-reading it tonight, I realized just how badly written it was and how badly it needs revision. I'll work on it this weekend and get it up to standards. It's saved as a draft, so the comments I've received will not be deleted... merely republished.

Thank you, bud.. Well, when I wrote it I was happy with it. But while reading it last night I realized how much polishing it needs. I'll get it back up sometime tomorrow..if I'm not too lazy.
I've done this same thing. I wrote a story as a teen and into my twenties and I laugh at it today.
Might be worth a rewrite, but I'd rather not change it. It's a nice portrait of who I was back then.
I wrote a trilogy of novels when I was in High School. The very thought of them makes me shudder. :D Just another piece of the Writer's Lament.
Merely grammatical things, hun. The story itself was phenominal... I have read a few times now and enjoy your excellent twists and turns in your horror genre writings :o)
